In Washington State and other states where Naturopathic Physicians must be board certified, we are often selected by patients to be their primary care provider. Certain insurance plans also designate Naturopathic Physicians as “Specialists”. Please check with member services of your insurance plan to see if you can select a Naturopathic Physician as your primary care provider or if you need a referral from your current physician for naturopathic or acupuncture services.
