DeeAnn Grimes, LMP

DeeAnn Grimes, LMP

DeeAnn has been a licensed massage therapist since 1996. She attended Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, and has done additional training in Hellerwork and myofascial release. Myofascial release work (MFRW) is a system of looking at and working with each person individually. It involves working through the fascial planes of the body: the dense connective tissue that wraps muscles.

DeeAnn feels that her graduate studies in anatomy and physiology in the Naturopathic Program at Bastyr University gives her a greater capacity to help relieve pain and increase the patient’s range of motion. This results in a higher quality of life.

DeeAnn uses postural analysis and muscle testing to determine where the body is being "held up." She also practices Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Reiki energy work, muscle energy stretching, trigger point work and will recommend exercise therapies to help you strengthen your body. Whether it is relaxation, pain relief, or therapeutic muscle work, she will help you achieve your goals.
